About Me
Therapy that meets you where you are — and honors where you’ve been.
Hi, I’m Annel Montes, CPC-Intern, a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern based in North Las Vegas. I work with children, teens, adults, parents, and families across Nevada, offering therapy in both English and Spanish.
My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. Whether we’re sitting on the floor during play therapy with a 4-year-old, reprocessing old trauma through EMDR, or supporting a parent through daily stress, I walk alongside you — not ahead of you.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy the simple things that keep me grounded and creative. I love watching anime, spending time with animals of all kinds, and finding inspiration in art and storytelling. I’m also a big believer in laughter and everyday moments of joy — the things that remind us healing doesn’t have to be all heavy work.
My Approach
At CapyPath, I believe healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood. Therapy should move at your pace — never rushed, never forced.
My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded. Whether we’re exploring trauma through EMDR, practicing new skills with CBT/DBT, or simply creating space to process your story, I focus on connection and pacing so each step forward feels steady and supported.
My Beliefs as a Therapist
I don’t believe people are broken.
Every child (and every adult) deserves to feel they matter.
Real change happens through safety and connection.
Therapy should be affordable, accessible, and collaborative.
